Went to the famous Carlsbad fair last Saturday,along with 100,000 other people. The sun was shinning and the smell of all different kinds of Fair food was in the air. You know the kind I am talking about . The caramel pop corn,hot dogs, cookies. Lots of good stuff, manage to spend some money. But more importantly enjoyed my time with my girlfriends. Talked about our husbands,diets, wrinkles,etc. Had lots of fun!!! Now to some real estate talk. The Carlsbad market has some great deals. There is a home on Highland that sold for approx. 1.5 million a couple of years ago that is now on for 900,000. Ocean view and a guest house and it is in good shape too.Walking distance to the beach and downtown Carlsbad. Win the Day!!!

My drive home from work is only about 5 miles. Instead of taking the freeway to make a quick drive home last night,I took the coast. You can see what a tough drive it is………These are some of the photos along the Pacific Coast Highway in Carlsbad. The sunset was beautiful as you can see.Also, there are photos of today .It is my assistant Cindy’s birthday. We went to The Beach House for lunch.It is located in Cardiff By The Sea.This place is really cool. You sit right on the sand and your view is watching the stand up paddle bord surfers in the blue Pacific Ocean.The food was also good.(wow… great food and views).It is whale watching season so we were hoping we would see some whales swimming by-but no luck. Lots of Seagulls wandering around and Pelicans doing some Swan dives catching their lunch.Win The Day, Chrissie

Sunrise at Carlsbad camp gounds was unbelievable today.The paking lot was full of surfers,due to the big swell that came in a couple of days ago.Carlsbad camp grounds is right on the beach. It runs about 3 miles. A perfect walk to start the day.There are so many goods deals in Real Estate in North County San Diego, a foreclosure just came on the market for under 400,000. It is west of the San Diego Freeway just a couple of blocks from downtown Carlsbad and the beach.I remember when these homes sold for around 600,00.What is that old saying” the rich get richer”,now is the time to buy. It seems like the investors are jumping in too, about one quarter of the offers that are written are investors with cash. That should tell you something. The stock market gurus are “steppen” out of the market and moving into the Real Estate market.Thanks for reading. Win the Day!!! Chrissie
